Detroit is slowly but surely making strides in fashion to become a force to be reckoned with, helping Detroit on this journey is Detroit Fashion Collective. Detroit Fashion Collective is an organization that is breathing life into Detroit's fashion industry by providing innovative resources and services, it's also behind the Michigan Fashion Symposium that is being held on March 24th and 31st. The reasoning behind this event is for people involved in the fashion industry to come and network with one another and centralize resources. With a wide range of abilities being covered, guests will have the pleasure of learning from the best the industry has to offer in all realms of fashion about how to get started, structure a business plan, sourcing, manufacturing, distributing, and advertising. The event will take place at the Detroit Fashion Collective 2431 4th St, Detroit, MI 48201 and is open to everyone from newbies to veterans. If you are looking for an internship or a job in fashion design, modeling, hair, make-up, styling, branding, photography or manufacturing, you need to bring a resume.
