Cool Kid: @DjBj3525 Detroit,MI

I live in the "Rock City", Detroit, where we're about Vernors, Big Boy, Faygo, Better Made, Belle Isle, Giant Slide, Campus Martius, Burn Rubber, REVIVE, Lafayette and American Coneys, The Packard Building, Russel Bizzar, The Original Big 3, Casino's, Looseys, Press Play, Detroit Tapers, and Radio personalities. There's a lot going on in Detroit if you didnt know. We have so many different famous personalities that live in Detroit its crazy and you never know who you'll run into. As the magazine expands we get to meet a lot of these personalities in the city from clubs, malls, salons, barber shops, and radio stations. Which bring us to our newest Certified #CoolKid @DjBj3525. When you think of a DJ you imagine in our parents time you picture them standing on stage or in a booth playing your favorite music all night. Now a days DJ's have a stronger roll in the Hip-Hop game by hosting party's, mixing music, and being the voice of the streets. They gotta know all the local artist in their town and show up to all the major events in the city, one of the big ones is Summer Jams in Detroit.
DJ BJ is doing all of these things and more. He is seriously the voice of the streets. BJ's been in the city grinding for a while with @DustyMcfly, @CashoutDoughBoyz, and @ToneTone. He even has a track with Cashout from back in the day with him spitting on it. Ima need to that one BJ. He is a guy who definitely knows how to work for what he wants in life and has a passion for music. It's like he said in the interview "Whats radio with no music....Just a dead channel." The man has been in grind mode lately working on some projects he mentioned in the interview and major goals in life that he wants to accomplish. We asked about his top 5 kicks and top 5 DJ's. He had some interesting answers. Also we got to hear a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT from BJ himself too. I just wanna say thanks to BJ for showing love to our magazine. This is something major happening in Detroit from 2012 on and I'm glad BJ wanted to be apart of it. Also thank you to Shorty, Ms. "Fly Girl" Paigion and the whole Hip-Hop Detroit family. I'm glad to see you guys supportting this major movement starting up in Detroit.
